Drop Spindle Spinning from Start to Finish
About this workshop
Learn to spin wool by hand with Cloverleaf Corriedale Stud owner, award-winning fleece producer, and skilled fibre woman Ronelle Welton.
In this 1 day workshop, you will learn how to prepare and card wool, begin drop spinning with a leader, spin singles and ply yarn.
Ronelle will teach you about the different types of drop spindles and beginner fibres.
By the end of the day, you will have produced a small skein of yarn using a Turkish style spindle, both of which you can take home with you.

Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen and an apron or tea towel to place on lap for spinning fleece
