Hand Stitched - A Sailor’s Ditty Bag
About this workshop
Learn to sew a sailor's ditty bag with Rick Mitchell.
This pouch was traditionally used to store the small tools of a sailor's trade and was made from the offcuts of sail canvas.
In this full-day workshop, you will learn to make your own ditty bag using traditional tools such as a sailmaker's palm and needle.
At the end of the day, you can carry your belongings home in your ditty bag.
