Drop Spindle Spinning from Start to Finish
About this workshop
Learn to spin wool by hand with Cloverleaf Corriedale Stud owner, award-winning fleece producer, and skilled fibre woman Ronelle Welton.In this 1 day workshop, you will learn how to prepare and card wool, begin drop spinning with a leader, spin singles and ply yarn.
Ronelle will teach you about the different types of drop spindles and beginner fibres.
By the end of the day, you will have produced a small skein of yarn using a Turkish style spindle, both of which you can take home with you.
