Over two days you will be immersed in a Centuries-old technique still used by jewellers, artisans and sculptors around the world. This is an opportunity to experience the entire process from start to finish - something rarely offered in a classroom setting.
You will lean wax carving techiques, then preparing your pieces for casting and creating a mould. On Day 2 you will be introduced to a centrifugal casting machine and melt & pour silver into your mould, experiencing the transformation process firsthand. Then you will finish your cast pieces: Cleaning, polishing and refining them into beautiful wearable jewellery.
