Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades acknowledges the Wadawurrung people as the Traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. About this workshop 
Learn to create a small glass panel in the copper foil / Tiffany technique with stained glass artist Daniella Acciarito.In this 1-day workshop, you will learn the tools and techniques for designing, cutting and fitting coloured glass and assembling your pieces using the copper foil joining technique. The copper foil / Tiffany technique is often used to create lightweight pieces as it allows a greater number of smaller pieces to be used in the design. 3-dimensional glass pieces are typically made using this technique. At the end of the workshop, your panel can be inserted into a black boxed frame for display.

Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen.

Non-flammable clothes must be worn. Long pants and a long-sleeved top are preferred. No flowing or baggy outfits or synthetic materials as heated soldering irons will be used. Closed-toed shoes - no thongs or sandals.

Small class size - 6 participants

All instruction and materials provided

You will learn to design and create a stained glass panel using the traditional copper foil/Tiffany technique.

A lunch break and morning tea break are included with morning tea provided
