Tapestry Weaving - Introduction
About this workshop
Learn to warp and weave on a simple frame loom with tapestry weaver Tim Gresham.In this two-day workshop, you will learn the techniques required to complete a sample of textile art.
At the end of the second day, you will take your tapestry home with you, complete with a wooden loom and bobbin handmade by the Wheelwrights and Coach Builders at Sovereign Hill. Tim will also provide you with a list of material suppliers, websites and books about tapestry.

Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen

Comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes.

You will learn
