ABOUT LUNA:
Luna Newby is a shoemaker and teacher who trained at the Cordwainers College in London, a City and Guilds Trade College and worked for many years in the UK before relocating to Tasmania in 2003.
WE SAY:
Luna is passionate about passing on the art of shoemaking and is dedicated to giving people from all walks of life the opportunity to embrace their creativity. In her own artistic practice, she uses non-standard textiles to create colourful and unique exhibition pieces and custom shoes.
