ABOUT ROSE:

Rose Hudson is a theatrical milliner and teacher of traditional methods in millinery for over 40 years. Her past work includes film, television, the performing arts and teaching at all of Melbourne’s major institutions.

WE SAY:
Rose has had an incredible career so far. She learnt her rare trade as an apprentice and has gone on to work with the Australian Ballet and Opera Australia and supervised the Millinery Department at Melbourne Theatre Company for 20 years. Her film and television credits include The Dressmaker and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries. Rose was inducted into the Millinery Association of Australia’s Hall of Fame in 2019. Rose is passionate about igniting the millinery spark in students and has taught around Australia and in the USA.
