Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades acknowledges the Wadawurrung people as the Traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. About this workshopExtend and expand your woodturning experience with artisan Brendon Collins.Refreshing your knowledge of basic turning techniques, Brendon will guide you in selecting timber for your project and using a variety of traditional handtools - chisels, gouges, parting tools - and electric lathes to create a lidded container.At the end of the day you will take your uniquely beautiful wooden box home with you.

Workshop appropriate - comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, hair/beards tied back, and no dangling jewellery.

Small class size – max 6 participants

All instruction and materials included.

Expand on your basic wood turning skill, using shaping tools to create a lidded vessel.

Breaks occur at morning tea and lunch. Morning tea provided. Lunch available for pre-ordering.
