Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades acknowledges the Wadawurrung people as the Traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. About this workshopFor all aspiring Robin Hoods this  introductory leatherworking session with artisan Alexander Stone will teach you about using patterns, selecting leathers, working with basic hand tools, and the discipline of saddle stitching.The process will take you from beginning to end of making a hip quiver for your arrows.

Comfortable clothes &amp; closed-toe shoes

Small class size – max 6 participants

Instruction and all materials; some written resources

In this workshop, you will learn basic skills and methods for choosing leather, cutting to a pattern, punching for stitching, and saddle stitching using traditional hand tools.
