Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades acknowledges the Wadawurrung people as the Traditional custodians of the land on which we operate. About this workshopExpand your ceramic hand-building skills with artisan Minna Graham.In this one day session you will practice traditional slab and pinch building techniques to fashion a shallow vessel celebrating the Japanese aesthetic and learn to make decorative slips to personalise your work.At the end of the workshop Minna will arrange to glaze and fire your Ikebana Vessel before delivering it to your address with a guarantee to keep your precious florals fresher longer.

Introductory/intermediate experience.

Workshop appropriate - comfortable clothing that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes.

Small class size – max 8 participants

All instruction and materials included.

Learn how to use traditional pinch and coil hand-building techniques to construct a vessel.

Breaks occur at morning tea and lunch. Morning tea provided. Lunch available for pre-ordering.
