Lacemaking – Bobbin Lace and Needle Lace
About this workshop
Learn the art of lacemaking with Lindy de Wijn and Helen Crabb from the Victorian Branch of the Australian Lace Guild.
In this 2-day workshop, you will learn to make both bobbin lace and needle lace by spending a full day working in each technique.
You will complete a sampler in each technique inspired by a Chinese Processional Costume from the Australian Centre for Gold Rush Collections which you will have the opportunity to view during the workshop.
At the end of the workshop, you will take your finished work and newfound knowledge and skills home with you.
